It definitely says direct rendering is enabled!

No, fist of all Quake3 gives you an error message if you don't have
DRI enabled. It allows you to start explicitly with software
rendering, but just forget it, I tried it, you cannot even play in 320x200.

I think the Mach 64 is not really fast, it is quite old.

I still get:
