Just FYI, it looks like we may have hit a snag on general XFree86 4.x
compatability.

Old DDX drivers should work with new servers, but the reverse isn't
guaranteed.  For example, I can't use the current Radeon TCL driver
suite from the DRI trunk (based on XF4.2) on a system with XFree86 4.1
installed.  The new Radeon DDX driver references new interfaces not
found in the XFree86 4.1 X Server.
