This is probably due to the huge amount of debug output info. Please try 
again without MACH64_VERBOSE and without the debug option in the kernel 
module. If everything runs smoothly then also try running more demanding 
applications.

So this means that there should be some problem with the FIFO in your 
card. We will need to get to the bottom of that eventually (I shall give 
you a patch to force a longer wait or something similar to try), but not 
right now since we are really focusing on DMA.

I advise you to keep your eyes on dri-devel and dri-patches and keep using 
an updated CVS, so that if things ever get broken for PowerPC it's more 
easy to pin-point and fix them.
