You might see it more often with current DRI CVS, because there's more 2D acceleration with DRI enabled there. :/ > Well, I thought it might be a good idea to write this on the webpage or into > docs with BIG letters, because otherwise gaming is pretty unusable if it > freezes every hour or so. Maybe you can fix it instead? It could be a similar problem to the one Tim Smith just tracked down in the radeon driver: it didn't always have the 3D engine wait for the 2D engine to go idle before doing something (see the RADEON_WAIT_UNTIL_[23]D_IDLE() macros). I don't think the r128 driver has any of this yet. -- Earthling Michel Dänzer (MrCooper)/ Debian GNU/Linux (powerpc) developer XFree86 and DRI project member / CS student, Free Software enthusiast ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ Dri-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/dri-devel
