No, that's ut2k3 looking for S3TC support.  I would try getting a trace 
from gdb to track down if the segfault is actually in the MGA driver.  The 
GL_INVALID_ENUM may be a red herring.  I was getting those on R100 because 
of the lack of cube maps, but it didn't cause a segfault.  You can also 
try setting the MESA_DEBUG env var to get more info on the error.
