Okay, if I set it all the way down to 1x, it doesn't seem to hang anymore (at 
least it hasn't yet). I tried turning off AGPFastWrite, but that didn't help.

This is a real bummer--kinda defeats the purpose of the upgrade.

I've always run at 4x on this system w/o any problems before.  Why would the 
newer cpus make a difference here?  Isn't the AGP bus off the northbridge?  
If so, since that didn't change--why the change in behavior?

Also, sound still does not work even though it doesn't crash at 1x.  At this 
point, I'm getting no sound at all from q3a, while kde and xmms can play just 
fine.

Weird, and disappointing.
