The CLE266 has some fairly complicated Linux kernel entanglements to resolve for the hardware mpeg engine stuff.

Hmm...there already *is* a savage branch. The question becomes this: Should we dump the existing savage work and run with this driver, or should we use this driver as a reference to complete the existing work? I suspect the later is the right way to go, but people more familiar with the existing (start of a) driver are in a better position to answer. In any case, I'm eager to finally have accelerated 3D on my T21. :)
