Hi Hui,

I finally managed to test the patches thoroughly, only after I found out there was
a problem with the USB-OHCI driver in 2.4, causing the keyboard to lock up if 'USB
legacy support' was enabled in the BIOS.

Anyways, everything works almost flawlessly: TuxRacer, NeHe OpenGL turorials,
Java3D, Quake 3. Quake 3 had a lot of texture problems (missing/flickering
textures, misaligned textures), but apart from that it ran smoothly in 800x600 with
maximum detail. Thanks a lot! If you need XFree logs or x11perf benchmarks, I
can send them.

there's not much I can contribute to speed up getting the driver to work with 2.5?
Do you think this wil be sorted out before 4.4.0 is released? I really need the 2.5
ACPI and CPUFreq support, because my system runs really hot and eats batteries
for lunch with 2.4 ;-(

        Wouter
