That's good news. I suppose you also had to port the 3D driver from Mesa 3.4.x to Mesa 3.4.x. Do you have this available somewhere? I don't have the hardware to test nor the time for co-development but I can try to help on specific problems as those you describe. If SF CVS wasn't such a PITA we could have the driver on DRI CVS, but since that's not the case I don't know whether you'd find that of any use.
