Error

The NWN forum says this has to do with impropper initialisation of
opengl subsystem. ? clues someone ?
It's a R250 card with ~3 weeks old trunk snapshot.

Have you applied all the NWN patches? I used to get that with my Radeon ( 64MB DDR ) until quite recently - after applying a patch to the linux client from Bioware.

Hey, thanks for answering, what patch do you mean ? I run 1.30 now, I'm going to investigate more now.

Paul Heldens.

Yeah that's the latest version of the client. The _only_ other problem I had with NWN was with the Miles Sound System ( or something like that ). I think I fixed it by adding the path to the Miles Sound System libraries to my /etc/ld.so.conf and running ldconfig, eg:

/usr/local/games/nwn/miles

or wherever you installed it.

I have no idea whether this is your problem or not. Hope it is for your sake :)

Dan
