------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-19-08 23:41 ------- WOOT!!! Well, I patched the dri cvs (as opposed to the xfree86 dri cvs tree) code this morning - took a couple of hours (and the odd typo that needed fixing during compilation took another half hour or so), but now I've got 3D acceleration with windows that don't lock up when I move/resize them anymore!!! I might have made a few mistakes with the patching, but haven't noticed any problems as of yet. There was one section that I didn't update because I couldn't find any functions that fitted with it, I think it was in radeon_context.c, and it was to do with the radeonInitExtensions function. Anyone know what that section of code does, the comments say it's a work-around for the IGP chip multi-texturing problem. I still haven't figured out why alt-tabing and the like doesn't work properly anymore, so I intend to reinstall redhat and get it working just right (I've tried everything I can think of!! Including screwing other things up in the process (hehe, have to manually start gnome and X now, and dont have anything in my start menu!!)). -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.xfree86.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by Dice.com.
