I checked out the code tagged at xf-4_3_99_9 and xf-4_3_99_9.. Where did you 
download your developers snapshot for .11 from? (I'll have a look on the xfree 
sites to see if I can find it in the mean time).

I tried compiling xf-4_3_99_9 with the patch applied last night again to 
capture what exactly the compile error is.. I have attached my build.log and 
host.def files.. I realised that when I had previously attempted to compile xf-
4_3_99_9 i had forgotten to put the host.def file in. After putting the file in 
and attempting compile I received the exact same compile error as I did when 
attempting to build 4_3_99_8 .. 

If anyone can suggest changes I could make to the host.def that would be great, 
in the meantime i'll hunt down the .11 snapshot as suggested and give that a go.
