I have kernel 2.4.21 patched with 439 & 480, and XFree86 4.3.99.9 patched with
502. I recompiled kernel and XFree86 (had some problems here but finally i get
it compiled). I also compiled radeon.o from xc tree and put it in /lib/
modules/2.4.21/... . These are my problems:
1) I got no Direct Rendering (IRQ Problem mentioned by Mika)
2) If i switch to console and then back to XFree my laptop freezes. I actually
ssh'd from my other box and saw that X got 99.9% of CPU. After some
investigation i found out that agpgart is responsible of this behaviour.
Any hints?
