The DRI project officially moved the CVS repository from sourceforge to freedesktop.org, so the freedesktop.org is now the official DRI project CVS repository and the sourceforge CVS repository is completely obsolete. Don't use it. The DRM doesn't create device nodes on the filesystem (that would be totally insane). The X server itself creates /dev/dri/card* as needed. -- Mike A.
