No, not seen here (r200) without and with Andreas fix.

12200 frames in  5.000 seconds = 2440.000 FPS
12097 frames in  5.000 seconds = 2419.400 FPS

Argh, don't hit me - had some mprime running in the background I forgot about ;-)
That said, I don't think mprime running in the background (with the lowest priority) should cause a ~8 times drop in glxgears performance. Well anyway, it's now up to ~2000FPS again...
