Okay some people have commented on the DRM CVS of late, and are unsure of what is happening with it,
I'm very willing to drop the shared and linux directories into an archived area but that will stop all support for Linux 2.4, but at the moment I'm getting the impression more people are using the non-core DRM than the core one which isn't helping testing for it at all, the core stuff has now been accepted into the kernel, so this is the future whether it is liked or loathed.... Can I ask that everyone running a 2.6 kernel use the core DRM for future testing? I'd like to maybe try merge the shareds at least but that isn't easy as all the DRM() macros in the old shared are a messy point... IMHO all future development should be concentrated on the core, and declare people running 2.6 can't have any new features, we just say this DRM is final 2.4 DRM and it ends here..., branch it off, and remove the files from the HEAD...
