I think there was some "time-shift" between dave's solution/workaround and my mail: I was offline while writing my mail, so I didnt notice that there is already a solution.


IMHO some documentation in these sources could be helpful to understand how this works.

The change in question is Eric's patch to reduce the amount of redundant state emitted?
