I agree. There may have been an issue on old Radeon cards, but it's highly unlikely that the same problem still exists in the R3xx family. Also, I have seen no regressions with your patch (no improvements either, but that's not unexpected). So unless there are any objections, I'm going to apply your patch and the patch.drm-cmdbuf-more-pacifiers that I posted yesterday to the r300 CVS soon. cu, Nicolai
