Hi guys, sorry if this was already answered.
I have executed the Solaris Hardware compatibility tool on my laptop and found out that it doesn't support my disk controler. A SATA Raid one, VT6421 IDE RAID Controller from VIA Technologies. According to the Sun support and some older mails on the list, that could be sorted out if I change the controler to IDE mode on the BIOS. However, my BIOS does not allow it. So my question is, does anyone know if Solaris will eventually support this type of devices? Or failing that, what would be the way to add the support?
