Hi Steve,

There are two ways to do this. Firstly:
you need to make sure that your driver is installed in the
miniroot (see the patchadd and root_archive manpages). Then
you need to ensure that the package containing your driver
is included in the install image so that it's selectable by
the user. This last part is a big pain and typically - at
the moment - only done by Sun's Release Engineering and Installation
Engineering teams.

The other option is to create an ITU (Install Time Update)
package, there is an example here

but not having created one myself I can't say how easy it
might or might not be.
