I'm considering a "fork-lift" upgrade of our aging PC (ca 5years old), and have come across a tempting offer on ebay. Although the main OS running on this machine will not be Solaris (until something like Photoshop Lightroom comes along for Solaris (pointers, anyone? ;-), anyway), I would at least like to know about the odds of being able to run (Open)Solaris on this box (virtualisation scenarios abound ...)
