Currently we keep just one copy of a definition in memory at any time (ie, we 
have shared_ptr to the definitions that we share). Currently a sort on an IS 
table is not incredibly efficient but I believe that will be solved soonish (I 
have most of the feature that will allow table functions handle 
rnd_pos/position for optimizing sorting issues).
