Yeah I was trying to test the current version which has not yet been made into RPM's also that error might be more helpful its , "Is boot new enough (1.40 required) ... no" . Then doing a simple rpm -qa | grep boost -i you would see oh im on only 1.33 not 1.40 .
Just a thought to make things more friendly when someone one el5 after release goes to compile it and says but I have boost installed.
