Now that you guys mention this, I remember hearing this discussion somewhere too. First of all, I think the docs.drizzle.org looks great and consolidating/focusing efforts is always good. Then I'll ask some stupid questions: For instance the document I now put together about Drizzle Marketing, where should that go? (http://wiki.drizzle.org/Marketing) By nature it is a) a work in progress and b) not documentation - it is something like "meeting notes". More importantly, since it is not written by a developer, I couldn't commit it to the Drizzle trunk, so there would be a delay in publication. (And I'm not complaining for myself, but I'm envisioning we would have more such people in the future, so just making a point that the manual is not a wiki replacement.) I could imagine using Launchpad blueprints as a wiki surrogate for such work. But then I don't get pictures. If we move to Google sites and it provides wiki-like functionality, there could be a part of the site that could be a sandbox for such meeting notes and other scribbles (should of course be clearly distinguished from more important and well written content). The other question I have about docs.drizzle.org, is it possible to split into more than one manual - say different "books". For instance, there could be a "Marketing team handbook", yet it shouldn't be part of the Table of Contents that is the reference manual. I'm interested to hear how the thinking goes here. henrik -- [email protected] +358-40-8211286 skype: henrik.ingo irc: hingo www.openlife.cc My LinkedIn profile: http://www.linkedin.com/profile/view?id=9522559 _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~drizzle-discuss Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~drizzle-discuss More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
