FWIW I am not sure about the current state of Drizzle vs MySQL performance. I know what it was with the prior GA of MySQL, but I don't know about the current one. I wouldn't be surprised if we were slower without an updated Innodb, but that is an assumption I am making based on a couple of lock changes in Innodb within recent time. I feel pretty sure that the kernel is still a bit faster. I have a new 64core box on its way, so with a little bit of luck I will be able to see what we look like with that many cores. Cheers, -Brian
