Hi,
Unfortunately I wasn't able to move this work forward in time for 3.0 and its
sort of on hold now until after the 3.0 release. I'll hopefully get back to it
though after the release. Its an area that definitely needs attention so any
time you can spend on it would no doubt be very welcome.
