Some institutions don't want to display the Request Copy button for all item types. The improvement would be a configuration option, which, if turned on, would display the Request Copy button only for documents with a specified values of a metadata field.
e,g,:
request.item.dc.type = info:eu-repo/semantics/bachelorThesis, \
info:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesis, \
info:eu-repo/semantics/doctoralThesis
If this configuration property is present, the button will be displayed only for theses.
