This is still the same issue as
DS-1188
. Thanks to the great work of Keiji and Andrea, this has been fixed in JSPUI. Thanks to the great work of Kevin, this has been added into XMLUI, but it's still not on by default because in it's current implementation it hides collection logo and description, which some users consider important.
This proposal is meant to be the last step to enabling this by default in XMLUI by rearranging UI elements in collection view. The screenshots show:
1) the current layout
2) the current layout with annotations of proposed changes
3) a mockup of the new layout
