Google Scholar's Indexing Guidelines,
        http://scholar.google.com/intl/en/scholar/inclusion.html
recommend using PRISM tags and others in HTML, and only as a last resort use
DC tags.

A blog at CrossRef,

http://www.crossref.org/CrossTech/2008/05/natures_metadata_for_web_pages_1.h
tml
describes how NPG has begun to use in HTML, PRISM tags, DC tags, and,
"Google's own bespoke metadata format". When I view pagesource on a NPG
splashdown page, I see the 3 different formats in HTML meta tags.

Where can I find a crosswalk between those bad(!) DC tags and PRISM, and the
Google tags ? It seems that the Google tags are really from Highwire Press
? Ie., "citation_title". If so, same question for Highwire Press tags.

Has some DSpace IR implemented these several schema for HTML tags?

What is the purpose for using these several schema of HTML meta tags? SEO?

Thanks
