Hello.
What do you do when departments/colleges change names and disciplines don’t map
nicely to one another in DSpace? We have a college (with 5 disciplines) and a
department (with 2 disciplines) from a different college merging into one
college with 5 completely different disciplines. Each of the old disciplines
have faculty publications as well as theses and dissertations. Now what do we
do with those items? Individually move them to the new discipline(s)? Leave the
items under the old name(s) and start fresh with the new college? I’d be
interested in any and all ideas.
