Actually, @mire mentioned at their presentations during OR 2012 that this will be one of their contributions into DSpace 3.0 (see [1], page 33). I didn't notice it in the accepted contributions, but you might want to check the release notes when 3.0 is out before the end of this year. Bram, can you please confirm this?
