I'm new to dspace.
Our government customer has a collection of images and video's.
I believe dspace would be a good solution for this requirements.
The only problem I see is the handle system and server.
Do I really need a handle server and why exactly ?
What if I go live in our production environment without registering an official
handle and without running a handle server ?
Do I need a handle ?
Do I need to run a handle server myself ?
Can't I just use the default handles generated by the "default" installation of
dspace ?
