What was the version of your previous dspace again, was it originally 1.5.1 as well? I'm also not seeing reference to a backing up a postgres database in your last emails, did you do a postgres database backup as well?

Ok. I got one file there in backup dvd. Though, i didn`t do this backup stuff at that time, so it took me some time to get that file. Anyway, i got the file named "dspace.sql". I think, this is file we are looking for. What do you say?

Good, if that truly is the database backup and it is in sync with your assetstore contents, then you should be able to restore your communities, items and users.

I would say:

1.) restore the database
2.) focus on getting the original applications war (1.4.2) running in the original installation location.
3.) Once you know its running, then work on upgrading to 1.5.1

One last thing you need to look for would be the dspace.war or your servlet engines "webapp" root directory which had the webapplication deployed in it. You can use this to test out your original installation is restored correctly.
