I have a new test installation of 1.7.1, which was upgraded from 1.5.2. A new (since the upgrade) top level community started throwing the following error whenever you try to view it:
org.dspace.app.xmlui.wing.WingException: The available object manager is unable to manage the give object. It has some sub-communities which work fine, and it shows up correctly in all listing. I started walking through the code, but haven't gotten to a root cause, or even a fix yet (though I'm not very familiar with this codebase).
