Dear all, thanks to your help, i have been able to successfully deploy an Institutional Repository for the University of Ghana using Dspace 1.8.1.
The URL is http://ugspace.ug.edu.gh:8080/xmlui/ Is it possible i can change the port 8080 to the standard port 80 so that when even people type http://ugspace.ug.edu.gh:8080/xmlui/ it translates as http://ugspace.ug.edu.gh How do i increase access to my repository. ie when i do a submission and later i search google or any other search engine, i usually don't get my submission as part of the results the Search Engine returns.
