This page lists different methods of how to run DSpace on port 80. https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/DSPACE/DspaceOnStandardPorts If you want to remove /xmlui/ from URL, just exit the context of the xmlui webapp in Tomcat and remove it. Also remove it from dspace.url in dspace.cfg. Then restart Tomcat. > How do i increase access to my repository. ie when i do a submission and > later i search google or any other search engine, i usually don't get my > submission as part of the results the Search Engine returns. It takes some time until Google indexes your site. This is normal behavior. It's impossible to force Google to index newly added items right away. By default, DSpace is set up to allow crawlers like Google to explore your site, so there's no need to change anything.
