Ok just found out that in english that column is "Average" not "Total".
It's translated wrong in Portuguese (Brazilian).
And it is negative because the time_filter value is negative. This average
is calculated in the method
org.dspace.statistics.content.StatisticsDataWorkflow.createDataset(Context)
