Hi luispov,

a quick search shows that this is probably a problem of the
implementation of XMLHttpRequest (the object used for AJAX calls) in
Firefox.

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=723805

Since this is a problem in Firefox, I doubt there is much we can do on
our side (DSpace) except perhaps send invalid code to specific clients
(e.g. PPOST) - and I'd prefer to avoid doing that. Which versions of
FF did you test with? Try to test a wider rande of versions. What are
the other versions of software in your stack (Tomcat, JRE, front end
web server)?

Regards,
