Hi luispov, a quick search shows that this is probably a problem of the implementation of XMLHttpRequest (the object used for AJAX calls) in Firefox.
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=723805 Since this is a problem in Firefox, I doubt there is much we can do on our side (DSpace) except perhaps send invalid code to specific clients (e.g. PPOST) - and I'd prefer to avoid doing that. Which versions of FF did you test with? Try to test a wider rande of versions. What are the other versions of software in your stack (Tomcat, JRE, front end web server)?
