Hi all,

Sorry, someone can try to execute this command?:

./dspace import -r -e user -c collection_id -s source_directory -m mapfile
I tried this into a fresh installed DSpace 5.1 and the replaced item dissapears from indexes. I think this is a bug from DSpace, can someone confirm this?
I'll be grateful, I have been 3 days trying to understand why the new items are indexed and replaced items not...

Thanks for your response. No, I don't run filter-media because these items doesn't have bitstream, are harvested from OAI-PMH. I harvest items from another repository and create dublin_core.xml with metadata, and this is the file that will be imported into my DSpace. Before install this new item, I check if his handle is in use, and if it's true, I delete the old item and then install the new with the old handle. It's so strange because if the item is not inside, then is installed and indexed properly, but if the handle is inside before, the item is updated properly but not indexed, I only can access it through handle.

Have you run the filter-media task? This task creates a full text index for a document as a TEXT bitstream. 
When you update the discovery index, the TEXT bitstreams are read.
