hi...
in the spamd.conf:
Preference "spamSubject=SPAM"
Do you mean dspam.conf? :)
yes
i tried:
# dspam_admin ch pref default spamSubject "[SPAM]"
operation successful.
If you are using a database backend (pg/mysql), compile dspam with
--enable-preferences-extensions,
i think i did that...
which will tell dspam to store user
preferences inside of the database. This will help to fish out errors.
i don't see anything in the subject line of spam marked messages....
Are you sure that the X-DSPAM-Result header is Spam?
oh yes... about 800 of them...
why?
You probably need to read the README file, and the files in the doc/ (or
txt/, can't remember) directory, a few more times. :)
thanks...
I wish I had not a sudden urge to answer emails!
i wish you do soon again - nobody else does and sometimes it feels like
i'm the only one on this list...
thanks....

Go ahead and post your entire dspam.conf file (minus the passwords) -
it'll be easier to figure this out if we have all of the information at
our hands.
Post it at a site, if you would, and not in the email (personal
preference - I find it easier).
