if you have your dspam compiled with debugging you can run it with --debug and see the order of preference files loaded. again, i can only guess that what happens is that dspam picks up preferences as it goes along - meaning that uses the first value for each preference no matter where it is found - user file, db or default (dspam.conf?!?!)... that will make sence to me... i think it's time for somebody on this list that really knows how this works to post a reply/comment to this thread... or something..... thanks.... > Sean > > > !DSPAM:3,45f7f79d309271242819860! > >
