I thought that maybe 3.8.0 would have fixed this problem, but unfortunately the problem still persists. I have dspam configured with Preference "signatureLocation=headers" yet dspam consistently outputs the signature on the message itself. I've mentioned this in previous messages (to both lists). This is quite annoying as I have to always edit any email reply to remove the signature from the body of the message reply. Do you know when this bug can be fixed?

I don't, and have never had, this problem. All my sites' signatures have always gone into the headers, latterly with 3.6.8 and now with 3.8.0. This is therefore not a bug in dspam - otherwise trillions of users would have complained long ago.

So what are you doing that the happy others aren't?

Are you building with "--enable-preferences-extension" and have you set "AllowOverride signatureLocation"?
