The only DSTAR radio that has ACTUAL rig control is the ID-1, via the USB and the id-1 software.... that is why the head is an option included. Not needed but included. This does not do auto PTT, you still have to "grab the mic". As for the other radio's, far a little in between for that, but like it was said, the ht's have a program, but offers little more then programming ability and channel changing. No PTT automated control there either...
