In Dubai 9 times out of 10 jobs are usually based on who you know, not what you know. However I feel the best start in linux certification would be LPI. According to an email I got from Network World a couple of weeks ago, more people took the LPI this year than any other Linux certification. LPI is also vendor neutral which will make your CV more marketable, a SuSE shop for instance, might be more likely to employ you with the LPI than the RHCT. However if you have a prefered linux and would prefer to try and get a job with your prefered distro then select a certification, if possilbe, that is dedicated to your prefered distro. hope this helps. daN -- _____________________________________________________________ " They that can give up liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.
