I have a HP ze2000 laptop , It Says Designed For Windoz XP , But I
removed it and Installed Ubuntu Breezy, It works Almost Perfect - I
had to adjust the keyboard keys and the other keys like the Volume up,
mute button stuff ,the only prob is the "light" that shows your
Volume is Muted Dosnt switch on or off, Rest all works fine, However
it dosnt have a wireless Card and I too dont use the smart card
reader.
My Laptop specs are
Conexant 56K ( Got a 14.4 linuxant driver , but I dont use the modem)
ATI Radeon Mobility Upto 128 MB ( Had to get latest drivers for Games)
Realtek Network Card (I use this instead of the modem)
256 MB RAM, ( I Think you will get one with 512 Now)
40 GIGS HD

However I noticed that the battery Both in Windows and Linux stays for
about 4 Hours Only ...

aLT.
