I recommend Orange Squeeze, or Squeezer. My main app (used on a Nexus 5x and Nexus 7) is Orange Squeeze. Orange Squeeze allows use of the Music and Artist Information plugin, which I use a lot, and I can't find a way to use that plugin with Squeezer. However, Squeezer seems to load up faster than Orange Squeeze and it is better if you are looking for basic functionality.
