Nancy, I'd rather bet that you've a faulty floppy adapter. Remove the floppy
adapter, reset the power manager (I've always pulled the battery, hooked up
the AC adapter, and then held the reset switch for 45-60 seconds....others
have their favorite variations) and see if it boots. If so, run it for a
while w/o the floppy adapter. If it runs OK, I'd start wondering about the
adapter. Maybe you can find a friend that has one that you can borrow?
