>A. Panasonic KXL-783A. I looked on the Panasonic website and >couldn't find a Mac driver. Will this work, and can I get a driver? > >B. Media Vision Model # 660-0020-0. I understand that Media Vision >is out of business. Again, will this work, are drivers available? They're both SCSI drives, so they'll both work if you can plug them into a SCSI interface on your computer (for the Duo this means some kind of dock), and use any SCSI-2 CD driver (CD Sunrise will support HFS volumes - if you want a commercial recommendation, CD/DVD Speedtools is a good choice for portable drives with no power eject). The KXL-783A is bundled with a low-end PCMCIA SCSI adaptor for PCs which won't work (and isn't required) on a Mac Powerbook. You will require a SCSI cable with an HD-50 connector on one end, and something that can connect to a Duo dock on the other (probably a DB-25). -- Marc Sira | [EMAIL PROTECTED] "If you can't play with words, what good are they?" ---------- Duo/2400 List, The friendliest place on the Net!
