Pull out ResEdit (you DO have ResEdit, don't you?) and open the 'DRVR' resource. If you want to patch for scsi drives, you want resource #32, or #33 for ATAPI. Once you have selected the resource, choose "Open in hex editor..." from the menu, and patch the folowing locations. Apple CD-ROM 5.4.2 CD/DVD 1.01 CD/DVD 1.2 Change from $67 $09CA $06B6 $0A1A $06C8 $0ADA $06C6 to $66 at offset Change from $66 $09C6 $0A16 $0AD6 to $67 at offset Save the resource, and the driver will now think that any cd-rom is an apple cd-rom. -- "What is it we're doing, exactly?"
