In fact, yes. I use my Powerbook ONLY when I am on the road. The rest of the time I use my two -amazing- Macintosh 8500's. (G3/400/1M 256M 18GIG Dual Monitor, 100baseT) And when I am on the "road", the majority of downtime is when I am sitting in airline seats. On a coast-to-coast flight I'll spend 2.5 hours on my 2400. On really long flights such as to Australia or Europe, I have been known to leave my 2400 at home and bring my hoary old Powerbook 190. Don't faint. It runs for over three hours per battery and I bought a second NEW battery for $20. With those two batteries, it gives me the run time I need when I am not lucky enough to have a seat with a powerport... which it seems is all the time. Plus the 190 recharges its batteries very fast so I can top off at the airport while waiting for a flight. Plus although not as svelte as a 2400, it is coach-class tray table friendly. And you don't have worry about it being stolen.
